Volunteer Membership Sign Up Forms Constitution and Bylaws for the Massachusetts Association of Women in Law Enforcement Constitution and By-Laws for MAWLE Membership Criteria Those who are current or former (i.e. retired) law enforcement officers with jurisdiction within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or persons employed by law enforcement or criminal justice-related agencies within the Commonwealth, having paid their annual dues for the current year. Active members have the right to vote and hold office. Those who are interested in fostering the aims and objectives of this Association, but are not current or former (i.e. retired) law enforcement officers or persons employed by law enforcement or criminal justice-related agencies within the Commonwealth. Supporting members, having paid their annual dues for the current year, have the same rights and privileges of active members, except for holding office and voting. Those who have been recommended by the Board of Directors to be such, due to their distinction in vocations and interests similar to women in law enforcement. Such a recommendation is made at a regular meeting of the organization. Honorary members shall have all rights and privileges of active members, except those of holding office and voting. They are exempt from paying annual dues. Any part-time or full time student pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice or their respective accredited potsecondary educational institution’s equivalent to a Criminal Justice Degree. Student members have a reduced annual dues rate, and upon payment for current year, retain the rights of a supporting member. Student members must include with their application, copies of a current and valid student ID and a college/university transcript confirming the course of study in Criminal Justice. Fill the form out completely and mail to: MAWLE | State House, 24 Beacon Street, Box #124 | Boston, MA 02133 We will then fill in our tax ID #, sign and mail it back to the agency requesting the tax credit. |
